Orthopedic Dog Bed Step, Soma

A padded step for orthopedic dog beds, designed to make it easier for your dog to get on and off the bed, providing a halfway point that helps them climb up and down more comfortably.

It is 100% removable, as it features two protective layers: a waterproof, removable inner cover that covers the foam and a removable outer cover made of soft-touch chenille fabric.

It is secured using flaps with Velcro fastenings, allowing it to be easily positioned anywhere on the central cushion, adapting to different configurations depending on your dog’s needs. It also features a non-slip fabric on the underside.

Combine this product with any of the items from the Soma collection to create your own modular sofa and add even more comfort to the bed.

Outer fabric: (Chenille)
- 100% polyester
- Weight: 250 g/m²
- Abrasion resistance: 60,000
- Tensile strength: 648–951 N WRAP
- Pilling resistance: 4–5

Inner fabric: (Oxford fabric)
- Composition: 100% polyester.
- Weight:  180 g/m²
- Water resistance: PU (polyurethane) coating on the inner side.

Foam: 
30 kg/m³ foam core

- Remove the outer cover from the bed and wash by hand or in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C.
- The cover is suitable for washing machines with a capacity of 8–10 kg.
- Do not use bleach or harsh detergents, to protect your pet’s skin and coat.
- Avoid industrial tumble dryers. We recommend air-drying for 2–3 days in an area sheltered from direct sunlight to preserve the fabric’s colour.
- The waterproof inner cover should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry to avoid damaging the fabric’s waterproofing.
- The foam filling is not washable.
